PGK Art: Westfield – 4 – Mindowaskin Park — Established 1918. This area has served as a continuing center of activity throughout its history, as a tanning yard in the early years, as an ice house and pond in the nineteenth century, and as a park serving the recreation and aesthetic needs of the present. The park was given an Indian name in honor of the first inhabitants of the area.
