2015-05-27: Vacation in several phases — Phase 3) Ocean City, MD

2015-05-24 to 31: Vacation in several phases: (1) Mom, Olenka, Hanka & Elzunia; (2) Longwood Gardens & Brandywine Valley, PA; (3) Ocean City, MD; (4) William, Marek & Kelly; & (5) Kasia, Rysio & Stephanie

We arrived in the late afternoon (Wednesday, May 27), and checked in the Dunes Manor Hotel. We were very happy with our accommodations, on the 10th floor, ocean view.

Thursday morning (May 28), after breakfast, we spent on the beach; and later, we took a tram ride down the length of the boardwalk. On the walk back, we were interrupted by an emergency at Babcia Krysia’s office that she needed to take care of by telephone — modern technology is wonderful, an office at the beach. That evening, while waiting for dinner reservations, I met-up with Santa Clause, who was also vacationing in Ocean City. He told me that so far, as far as he is concerned, I have been pretty good this year (does not say much for his accounting system).

By the way, for lunch, we stopped at the Shenanigan’s Irish Pub & Grille, where they had interesting coasters:

Back to our story … next morning (Friday, May 29), we had breakfast at the hotel, took some final pictures, wrapped up the presents for William and Kasia, packed up, checked out, and continued on our journey South.
