There we stayed for 2-weeks, until I earned some money. I started to work right away in a factory. My first check was $28.00 dollars for 40-hours of work. Not much, but it was the begining. We found a apartment bought some food, learned how to shop and start our new life. Not everything was easy. There was the language barier. I already learned some English in Germany but it was not enough. I felt strange among people when they spoke and I couldnt understand. In the factory I didn’t like what I had to do over and over the same monotonious things. I begin to feel sad. I had so little money couldn’t see or go places because everything was too expensive.
