August 9, 2011 — What’s happening

Dear William (and Daniel, Catherine, Michael & Baby Girl Y) (and your parents), (and any future descendants and their parents),

So, what’s happening? … Well, let’s see …

This morning, I drove Babcia Krysia to Newark Airport — she is flying to Denver, Colorado on business.

Ciocia Malgosia is getting ready to mail out the invitations to her wedding (October 15); and is working as an assistant Manager in a Modells Sporting Goods Store.

Wojcio Rysio returned from his expedition to Machu Picchu in Peru. He took a 10-day journey, and took lots of great pictures.

Marek completed two sessions of Colonial Williamsburg Foundation / College of William & Mary field school in historical archaeology.

Alco and Pepe

My sisters Hanka and Elzunia are traveling by car (with Elzunia’s two Chihuahua dogs), exploring the U.S.A. — last I heard, they were at the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota.

My brother Tom, with his family (except for Zak, who is working in Los Angeles, California), went on vacation to Rhode Island.

Rumi Poetry

Whirling Dervishes

Babcia Krysia’s sister Hania recently returned from Ankara and Konya, Turkey, the land of Rumi poetry & whirling dervishes; where she was on business (she works for the Liberty Science Center).

Hania’s husband Lee Levine participated in a soft opening for a pilsner biergarten in Hoboken, N.J. – proclaimed to feature great beer, food and a GREAT architect!

Babcia Krysia’s second cousin Joanna Paruszewska attended the Woodstock Festival in Poland.

Babcia Krysia’s brother Tadziu had his bike stolen — he is very upset about it.

My cousin’s daughter Michele Tymowski will be going to graduate school at the Imperial College London for a MSc in Strategic Marketing.

Tom’s daughter Katrina is back from a semester in Spain.

William — are you expanding your horizons; are you doing interesting things?

Love,

Dziadziuś Paweł.
